I have a 2 HP Hayward pump that I believe is leaking. I was near my equipment pad when DW fired up the spa and selected the spillover feature. When the filter activiated I could tell the pump had lost its prime, and blead-out the system. Curious, I noticed water running down the pump housing near the pump / motor connection. I am assuming (hoping) I have a damaged seal, and can complete the repair myself. Given this description and the attached photo, can someone tell me what has failed? Shaft seal, etc.
