Pool Stain Treat from United Chemical

Has anyone ever used the product "Pool Stain Treat" from United Chemical? I've heard good things about it and it has the advantage of not having to lower your chlorine below 1ppm to treat metal stains. Just wondering if anyone had good/bad things to say about it before I tried it.

If successful was there any trick to make it work right?

IT is basically oxaxlic acid. It will remove stains but you run into the danger of precipitating out calcium oxalate which can cloud the pool. I preper ascorbic acid for stain removal even though you need to drop the FC for this reason and the fact that it is much less toxic than oxalic acid.

If I don't have CA in the pool, can the Oxalic Acid still precipitate out Calcium to cloud the pool?
