Rain coming, currently at tail-end of SLAM

Unless the rainfall is expected to be in the double digits in inches it will have little effect. The water in your pool is all ready wet. It does not get too bothered by rain falling in it.

The rain shouldn't have a huge impact on your SLAM. A long, heavy downpour might impact pH a little from all the aeration, but no need to go out of your way to cover the pool. As soon as there's a break in the rain, verify your FC and press on.

PS ~ Send some rain to Texas. :)

Side thought: Why not SLAM with the cover on? I know it isn't a WHOLE bunch of loss through the sun, but in these critical times, why not take every advantage you can get to keep the FC in there and cover the pool during the day?

CC build up would be detrimental to your SLAM. You want to burn them off as much as possible.
