Calcium Hardness and Vinyl Pool

From reading Pool School and seaching previous posts, it seems that CH is not a concern for a vinyl pool.
My CH is 103 and the pool company said it should be 175 before closing. Of course this came with the sales pitch of a 25lb bucket of calcium chloride.

Just checking with the more knowledgeable, but I think my 103 is just fine.
Correct?

CH of around 100 is fine for vinyl.

You can have too much CH in any pool....over 400+......you don't have that so no worries.
