New Owner Builder Pool Build - Poway, CA

Hey Everyone,

My name is Jeff and we started owner builder pool project on June 27th 2018. I've been reading these forums for month and its finally my turn. Be prepared for tons of pictures, time lapse and drone footage. Haha.

Anyways hope everyone enjoys watching my build and helping me along the way. Below are a few sketch up's that I did to kind of get a look. They are rough so don't judge.

Day 1 - Grading

Can't wait, what a great design! I can't read the tiny design text. Can you tell us about those areas to the left of the pool on the lower level?

Outdoor Kitchen. Basically just BBQ, Sink, Refrigerator and TV if I can pull all of that off in my budget.

Excavation is moving along pretty quickly. A lot of dirt to move. Over 100+ yards so far with maybe another 25-50 to go. Just finally got around to publish day 2 and 3 of excavation.

Yesterday they finished the steel by 2PM. Very impressed with the strength and talent of the guys. Pool is starting to take shape. Plumbers are going to start trenching tomorrow.

Went out of town for 10 days so didn't get a chance to post video in a while. Plumbing Complete. Inspection Passed. Shotcrete Tuesday 24th of July. Quoting about 50 yards

Poor things having to dig around the rebar to put the pipe in! Looks like they knew what they were doing! BIG job done!

Sorry I totally forget to post this last week. Its been over a week since Shotcrete and things are looking great. This week was kind of depressing because we had no one lined up to work and many task to complete.
