Since day one every time I've unplugged our summer waves pool filter water comes spewing out of it. I've been told it needs to be heightened and that just stops it from even pumping. All parts are sealed tight and o rings are new and look fine with no cracks. Any idea?

Can you tell us exactly where the water is squirting from? Maybe a pic of the area or your equipment? Generally in your situation I think of an air leak in the system somewhere causing that problem as it equalizes, but maybe more info will help us a bit more.
