I am building a true L 45 x 40’ pool with an 8 foot deep end. The pool is metal panels and vinyl lined. The pool has 2 cozy coves and a sundeck. So it is a somewhat complicated first build.
i have poured a 4 “ thick concrete deep-end bottom and shallow-end bottom and the connecting incline.
I poolcreted the remainng deepend side walls. I have a ground water issues at my pool site. And have added a sump pump that is 2 feet below the deep end In other words 10 feet deep. I also put 3/4 clean aggragate and drain tiles under the pool.
