White Rubber Instert In My Skimmer needs replacing

Hi I am looking for a bit of help. Im my skimmer there was a white rubber insert in the skimmer suction hole that in my mind acts as a seal when i put the vaccume hose into the skimmer suction hole. The inset is very old and falling apart and needs replacing. I live in the Bahamas and i have taken the insert to both of our major pool cmpanies and they do not carry the part nor know what it is they said that their inserts are pvc like with threads. Can anyone help me figure out what it is and where i can find one. I am happy to order online and ship it in.
