How long to run in floor pool cleaner (pcc 2000)

This is my first experience with an in floor cleaner.
I have been running the pcc 2000 for 1/2 hour prior to running the main drain/filter. The cleaner cycles through each zone approx 10 times within the 1/2 hour. I have no problems (yet) with large amounts of debris, leaves etc that the cleaner must move around, other than the dirt that normally accumulates.
Are there any rules of thumb about in floor cleaner run times? Or, trial and error until you find the pool is clean sufficiently.

There is no set rule as far as run times go for in-floor cleaning systems. It's all a matter of what works for you. I personally run my in-floor system exclusively during the summer months. It provides excellent circulation and keeps vacuuming to a minimum.
