Sta-rite spa heater 'calibration'

I had a spa heater replaced today and the factory setting is 104º. The old heater had been 'calibrated' so that it would make it to 108º. But, I forget how I did it. Anybody know?

Hi Felix welcome to TFP!!

NO heater sold in the US should be able to go over 104*!

104 is the max temp they allow


I wouldn't worry about the extra 4 degrees

Yup, somebody fiddled with the old heater to make it do that (bad pool guy!).

Unless your making broth, you will be just fine at 104!

The guy whose spa it is wanted the old one that way...and, wants the new one that way. I never get in the thing. And, I was the one that changed it...I just forget how I did it (was talked through it by the original, now gone, installer) I think 104 is too hot!!!
