How soon after adding clorine

Can you check to get a gauge of where you really are ppm wise

It really depends on your pool but most folks here say 30 minutes to an hour after adding Chlorine. I wait an hour even though I have excellent movement in the pool.

I used to think 30 minutes was enough but, on another thread, OP reported a ppm of X in 30 minutes and in 30 minutes more (one hour total) reported another 1 or 2ppm rise.

All pools will be different but one hour now seems safer to me.
