Pool is ordered, please check my pump/filter choice so I can order it too

I have a 27' round pool due to be delivered at the end of the week. Escavation starts tomorrow. I am hung up on filter choices and think I have narrowed it down to the Waterways Clearwater II 125 sq ft cartridge filter & 1.5 h.p. 2 speed pump. Is this overkill, is it just great, is there a better choice? The price is $450.00

Thank you all so much, I have spent so much time studying and I think I am ready to start, but too many choices get me going in circles.

Question... why not get the 200 filter instead of the 125?

Not sure.... id like to know the same.
I think ive read you can never gave a big enough filter

Bigger cartridge means less cleaning (pita). Order bigger

The 150 and 200 also seem to put out more gph.
125 gph vs 150 gph.
So you should gain another 25 gph with the same pump. Someone please explain but im assuming theres more flow so the pump works not as hard?

Less sq footage of a filter means it clogs up quicker. Cartridges are very porous and allow more water to pass through than sand filters.
