Will a sand filter be able to catch pollen or should I use that stuff that makes small particles clump? The pollen is really bad here. I just brushed my steps a few hours ago and they are yellow again! I'm not sure if when I vacuum and skim the filter is catching the pollen or if the pollen is just accumulating. Thanks!

When we have heavy pollen, the skimmer sock appears to catch most of it.

Try adjusting the return eye a little. The pollen may be collecting on the ladder before it gets to the skimmer. My ladder catches all kinds of junk falling out of the trees!
