Watering the lawn with pool water

Is it possible?

I am thinking that if I can, I can do a partial exchange every once in a while and
water my lawn...

I spread 26,000 gallons on our 1+ acre lawn a couple of years ago. I drained the pool for cleaning, starting over/getting out the excess CYA, etc. using a 1.5 HP shallow well jet pump and a manifold that let me connect 5 garden hoses to it. The grass (St. Augustine) loved it.

Putting pool water on your lawn is just fine except in extremely arid areas (where it is often alright, but can cause problems over several years) or when you are growing especially sensitive plants. Normal grass doesn't mind the chemicals at all and loves to get water.
