Dead root threatening liner

Following my installation by WatsonsneFamilyLeisure, my daughter said she felt a screw in the pool under the liner. Well, from feeling it myself and knowing I helped clear dead roots from that area of the pool, a small, but sharp root is elevating the liner, but has not pierced the liner. Do I just let well enough alone as I begin closing the pool (and hope I don't get a winter hole) or should I go ahead and fix while I can still stand the water temp? I suspect I would have to cut around or force through, cut off the offending root/stick, and then patch? I'll hang up and listen..... (27' Miramar 54")

If you had a company install the liner this season, call them and see if they will fix it under warranty. I would not advise deliberately cutting a hole in the liner and patching it!
