Safe FCL to swim after shock?

What is a safe FCL to swim in after shocking? I shocked around 30 ppm to kill off all the algae and want to know at what FCL level can we start swimming again? My daughter wants to jump back in the pool and we only have a few days of summer left. Thanks.

The EPA recommendation is based on their drinking water standard which is 6-8 quarts consumed per day. Several states have 10 ppm FC as a limit for commercial/public pools. I'll write separately in The Deep End later on this week about a recent report on children's asthma and outdoor pools (a follow-on to an earlier study on indoor pools).
