Water Evaporation

That time of year when a lot of evaporation is happening.

Wonder if there's a calculator for that?

I'm bringing up the water level to the "right spot" about every third day. There are no leaks. I checked using the 5 gallon bucket method on the steps.

No calculator... evaporation is dependent on many variables... humidity, cloudiness, wind speed, air temp, water temp, etc.

It is difficult to get an exact value for a particular day but you can get an average rate from this link. You can improve the estimate a bit by doubling the daily average for summer months and halving it for winter months.
