Thanks to TFP I uncovered my pool full of crystal clear water.

I opened my AG pool over the weekend. I have been following the TFP forum and its guidelines since I bought our pool last year. I didn't have any problems last season and followed the instructions for closing the pool but I was a little skeptical about uncovering a clean pool this season. I thought for sure that I would have to do at least a little scrubbing and shocking. But as my picture shows the pool was amazingly crystal clear. The sides did not feel slimy at all. The water chem. wasn't bad either.
This was from Saturday night right after taking the cover off.

After adding some Borax I retested on Sunday and got:
FC 7
CC 0.0
TA 100
CYA 40
PH 7.5

Now if the water temp would just get above 68 degrees and closer to 80 I will be happy. ;)

I am wondering if I still need to shock the water even though the chemistry all looks good? I have company coming over Monday who don't mind the cold water lol.

Thanks again for all of the advice.
