Muratic Acid and Chlorine Floater

Hi I'm new here, so please forgive me if this belongs in a different section.

I've read that mixing chlorine and muratic acid can be dangerous, but I realized just after adding muratic acid to my pool tonight that I have a chlorine floater, and it may have floated over the spot where I just poured in my diluted acid. I couldn't find anyone else asking this on the internet so I'm thinking I'm just crazy, but are there any dangers with adding muratic acid when you have a chlorine floater in the pool?

I would just make sure the floater is on the opposite end of the pool from where you're adding the acid. You really don't want it to float directly through the acid before it thoroughly mixes, as that could result in some fumes
