Seasonal AquaPure1400 challenge

another year and another challenge.

so this year i went thru my usual pool opening cycle..... cleaned pool, changed filters, bought a new robot (not planned), added salt, put system into boost cycle...... Everything looked and tested GREAT. WOW, i am happy........then NO chlorine.I am getting error codes 125/194. this is cell #2 in 7yrs.

System acted the same way last year, I added chlorine tabs for about a week, and everything corrected itself.


Thoughts???

Make sure the cell and sensor are clean.

If they are clean then google jandy aquapure workbook pdf and follow the troubleshooting guide. Most likely it's time for a new cell.

What does the cell look like? When you winterized do you remove the cell from the pool? Below is the manual. I second cleaning the senor and the cell.

125 - cell needs to be cleaned

194 - Cell Current is 85% lower than desired and cell Contact a pool professional. voltage above 19V(Generates 125 code - Cell dirty or needs replacement)

Hi Paul, where were you able to get a replacement cell from as I have been looking for one for mine with no luck. I have a Jandy Aquapure 1400 SWG with a 2 port cell.
