Refilling a fiberglass pool

I just drained and refilled my fiberglass (over plaster) pool because the CYA was very high. Should I follow the start up procedures for new plaster pool or something else? Here are the current numbers.

TA 30
CH 40
CYA <30

If the plaster is old and cured well I would think you just follow procedures like you were opening the pool for the first time for the year. Just make sure your water is balanced and you should be good to go!

It sounds like you have a fibreglass pool, regardless of what's underneath.

Fill 'er up! :-D You need more chlorine in there than you currently have. at least 3-4ppm.

You also need more CYA.....at least 30-40ppm.
