i have a auto pilot soft touch that is 6 years old. the cell was replaced 6 months ago along with the tri sensor cable. im a getting a error tri sensor error. flow is OK
i cleaned the filter the screen in the manifold, checked both sides of the cable and removed the sensor and checked the flow switch the salt tabs with a multi meter. all checked fine.
im at a loss of what to do next.

The only Temerature error display is BAD TEMP SENSOR, which means that the unit will default to 75 degrees and the Automatic Temperature Compensation is inactivated. The Automatic Temperature Compensation adjusts the Purifier Output % automatically, based on water temperature changes.

Remove the tri-sensor connector from the trisensor. Inspect the trisensor section of this connection. There are 6 pins that should be straight (five around a center pin). If you find that there are one or some of the pins that are bent, trying to straighten them may break it off.
You will need a new tri-sensor then.

However, if you're not opposed to making changes to your system when it starts getting colder or as it gets warmer, instead of the system making the changes to your purifier output, you can just leave it with the BAD TEMP SENSOR display. It will not harm anything.
