Where do you get 12.5% liquid Chlorine?

Hi,

I typically buy at Namco when it is on sale for around 4 per gallon but is there anywhere else I can get it at similar pricing? Any sort of use baking soda instead of expensive pool chemical XYZ?

Leslies never has it on sale & I am not sure where else to look.


Would a janitor supply store have it?

I contacted the local pressure washing places, they all directed me to a local chemical supply company.
The only draw back to them, for most people, is that they will only sell it 55 gallons at a time.
For me, that works, as that is how much I am looking for at a time.

Is there an Ocean State Job Lot in your area? They carry 12.5% "Shock" during the pool season at $2.99 a gallon.

Re: second half of your question.....baking soda from WalMart. I use their Great Value brand for $1.50/lb. Costco carries large bags of Arm & Hammer.
