Brown spots on vinyl liner?????

For a long time now I just considered this as settled dust down in the small crevises
where the ground settles. But after trying to use a scrub pad all I was able to remove
was the liner color and not the spots. Any ideas.

You can try crushing up a couple of vitamin C tablets, put them in a thin sock and rub it on the stain. If the stain lifts, then it is a mineral stain. Let us know if it works.

I will try this today. But after a very wet spring and lots of standing water around pool
these may be mold/algea from under the liner. Thats what other owners say can happen.
