G'day all, my name is Matt, originally from Sydney but now living in NE Ohio (I hate snow!)
My wife has been saying for a while she wanted a pool, so we got a metal framed 18' x 52" Intex knockoff last year very late in the season. We enjoyed it and now that the new season is arriving it'll be time to put the pool back up and actually enjoy it for a full summer.
One of my work colleagues put me onto this site and it's been very informative. I ordered and received a Haywood skimmer and at the end of the month I'll be ordering the Intex sand filter/SWG combo and the plumbing parts I need to make it all work.
I've been trolling the posts for the Intex builds and they've been very helpful showing me what I need to do.
No doubt I'll have questions along the way.

Welcome to TFP, but sorry about the snow. Have to say, while I like to visit the snow and play around, in my heart I'm a warm weather guy who loves the beach and sun. Guess that's why I have a pool now as well.
