Proper CYA technique

The Taylor website says mix for 30 seconds and then poor into comparator. Another CYA instruction I have on my Pool Solutions PS232 Kit from Ben says mix and wait 30 seconds then poor into comparator. I have tried it both ways and it does make a difference.

What is the offical way to do this?

Add CYA reagent to pool sample, Mix, wait 30 seconds, Mix again, then pour into the view tube.

what are your numbers doing it each way?

I mix it for 30 seconds of shaking, let it sit for about 2-3 minutes in case the temp is low and the reaction is slow because of this, give it another shake and then dispense in the view tube.

A little higher reading if I mixed for 30 seconds and then poured into tube without waitng.
