Bonding Wire to Air Blower

Hi, my air blower recently died. It was a gold Jandy Zodiac Metal Blower.

There is a bonding wire that connects the heater, pumps and blower together with a thick copper cable coming out of the earth. It was connected to the metal cover on the blower with a grounding lug.

So, I bought a new one. It is a black Jandy Pro Series. There is no place for a grounding lug and the manual doesn't mention one.

Do I need to connect these together or does it not need it for some reason.

If it doesn't come with a bond lug, it probably doesn't need to be bonded. It's probably double insulated.

Maybe check with Jandy to be sure.
