    Too much chlorine?

I am a brand new owner of an in ground pool. My husband wants to swim as soon as possible. I just want to make sure it's ok for him to get in. It is an SWG system, so I'm trying to find the right percentage. Anyways, Saturday the FC was 3, yesterday it was 7 and today it's 10. The CYA is 70. So is the FC too high to swim in? If not what would be too high?

It's safe to swim with FC up to shock level for your CYA of 70 that would be 28 per the CYA/FC chart. My SWG does that a lot and I have to turn it off sometimes for a couple days to get back to my target. Remember also according to the chart 3 is the absolute minimum FC you should target around 5 FC to be safe.
