    Will high FC levels affect the color change of alkalinity testing?

    In the process of a SLAM and checked my alkalinity this morning. The color change still occurred at the same point it did before the SLAM but instead of turning to red it turned to a golden yellow.
    30K, plaster, heated SPA
    SWG Pentair Intellicholor IC40, pumps- Pentair Intelliflo 2VST X2 (1 for main filtration 1 for water features)
    Pentair remote control, Pentair natural gas heater
    4x four foot canister filters
