    Long Time Researcher, finally... Pool build underway

    2 weeks in and rebar is complete...

    New Construction...
    Gunite 24x36, 3'6" to 5'6"
    All Hayward Equipment
    Travertine Decking, rear of pool is 2 feet above grade.

    Looks good so far. Have you chosen equipement? What finish will you have on the pool? Any tile or other bling? Fill us in dude!

    We are thrilled with the travertine as well. Wouldn't change that, even for the bump in price... it was worth it.

    The width of the pool was a must for us. I've seen too many narrow thin pools around here, mostly due to small yards, and just wanted something a little more roomy.

    FYI... following the Pool Math with a TF-100, speedstir and the Pool Math app is the best decision I've made since the pool was built. The numbers are consistent, the upkeep is simple and the water is crystal clear and sparkling every day. I'd be a nervous mess without this site leading me down the proper path. (And probably in the poor house if I were to buy everything that the Pool Store tells me I need!!)
