BioGuard 1200v test kit

Newbie! Going to convert from soft swim soon. Only have had 1 day of sparkling clear water with Soft Swim. That was after adding $40 of Peroxide 'C'. Left over from years ago is a BioGuard 1200v test kit. It measures free CL but not CC. Should I toss it?

You need to toss it for 2 reasons:
1) it is old. While many reagents have a shelf life of a couple years, "from years ago" just seems TOO old
2) you will need to be able to measure CC's to ensure that your conversion is complete.

Why wait?? sure, it will take a little more bleach, but you will be swimming a lot faster!!!
