Hello everyone. learning a lot from the information on here but have a lot to learn.

DIY pool project & would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

I'm planning to install an 18x36 steel walled vinyl lined pool with a full width steel step and a Sunbelt brand 89” round spillover spa.

Below is a list of things I plan to use (Would love advice or any suggestions) :

Hayward 200k Heater for spa only (Not planning to heat the pool) **Not purchased yet**

Hayward Omnilogic controller **Not purchased yet**

S.R. Smith LED light system **Not purchased yet**

Hayward 1.5hp super pump for pool only (Wishing I would have ordered a variable speed instead)
Haywrd 2.0hp super pump for spa

LED Lights will be the S.R. Smith PooLux system **Not purchased yet**

Thanks,
Greg

Welcome to the forum!

An ambitious plan. Good for you. Other members are very much into design and 'bling', so watch your wallet!

I agree on the VS pump. You really only need one pump. Automation with that would make the use of the spa much easier.
