"Generating" light on SWG

I have a Goldline SWG with a 25,000 gallon cell....Its currently set to about 30% (its new so i'm still tweaking it"

Every time I open the box and look at it, the Generating light is on.......Does this light mean that it is actually making chlorine, or is it just showing that the unit is up and running?????

It always seems to be on, or maybe I'm by chance looking at it at the wrong times....

Mine works the same way - that is, the light stays on regardless of the % you select.
I think it is meant to stay on as long as no faults are registered, rather than turn on only when the generating voltage duty cycle is on.
