Just bought six one-gal jugs of 10% from Walmart for $3.64. Works out to $0.284 per the calculator. Looks like I paid way too much but not sure where in Albany, GA I can find it cheaper.

Rural King has 10% gallon Pool Shock, 4 per case $8.99m, $2.25/gal .17/oz chlorine
Checked ALDI on Saturday and their bleach is 8.25% for $2.39 a jug. Don't know if that's a great deal or not but putting it out there for anyone who needs it.
Assuming a 121 oz. jug, it works out to $0.24. Not bad. There are some better deals, but certainly worse as well.
Atwoods has 1 gallon (128 fl oz) 10% for $1.99. I think the brand is called online.

This says "pool shock" at Atwoods. Is it the same as just buying bleach? Probably a dumb question.
Not a dumb question, yes it is (Sodium Hypochlorite) just a higer/stronger percentage (10%, instead of 6% or 8.25%)

Sodium Hypochlorite is what we refer to as chlorine. So yes liquid pool shock is just chlorine, they just label it as shock because of marketing.

What do we need to know about the stamp? That Atwoods shock/bleach/chlorine is what I was buying too and it was dated BB05/09/19
