Need Advise on what to do this winter.

I'm going to need to drain my pool to do a repair. My question is should I drain it, do the repair and then refill it and winterize? Or should I just drain, do the repair and wait for warmer weather.

I live in Austin so we have mild winters and the odds of freezing are low. I just don't know if its good for the structure of the pool or liner to be without water. Any advice is much appreciated.

You should always leave at least 1 foot of water in an AG pool. And long term, I would suggest leaving more for stability during windy days.

I believe you should refill it to a winter level. Leaving it exposed may dry it out and become brittle.
