    Solar blankets

What is the longest you can leave your solar blanket on before it effects the water?

My pool company that I purchased the solar blanket from told me to leave it on for no more than two days max at a time.

    Is this correct?

    Re: Solar blanketsA

A lot of people leave their blankets on when they go on vacations with no problems. I think if the water is balanced with plenty of chlorine its fine.

    Re: Solar blankets

eventually you will have problems if the water is never allowed to "breathe". whether anyone has figured out how long that is, I'm not sure. certainly more than 2 days though.
