? about plumbing an intex pool

i am upgrading to a sand filter and pump. i will be using 1.5" pvc with ball valves on the return and skimmer sides. my question is ......do i need to install a section of flex hose on each end since the pool is a soft-sided intex pool? or will I be ok to hard pipe the whole system?

I would think that flex would be a good idea for an Intex pools so as not to put any excess stress on the connections at the pool.

I have no personal experience, but Mark's thoughts make good sense to me.

I'm not a big fan of flex, but that seems like an application where it is a good choice.

thanks for the replies........tha's kinda what I ws thinking. i think i will put about 2' of flex hose where the connections meet the pool and hard plumb the rest.
any suggestions on flex line?
