What would you do differently, if you could?

I think 6 returns may be a bit overkill for that size pool. You will get your filtered water distributed throughout the pool, but the pressure will be weaker out of the 6 returns and you may not get the surface action you need to push leaves and stuff toward the skimmers. Also, running the Intelliflo at lower RPMs the pressure out of 6 returns would be pretty weak.

I have only 2 returns and the circulation and surface action is great, anything floating on the surface, leaves, toys, Crocks find their way to the skimmers in minutes.

as long as all suction and return lines have a valve you will have great control of everything, I would have liked a suction line for my vacuum instead of using the skimmer

I have never built a pool but this is what I wish was different about my pool:

I wish it was not a free form pool.

I wish it had a suction port.

I wish the equipment had been put closer to the house instead of out by the side of the pool.

I wish it had a return on the side of the pool for water features.

I wish it had a water leveler.


What I absolutely love about my pool:
In floor cleaner. I absolutely love it. I hardly ever have to vacuum my pool.
It is a large play pool rather than a deep diving pool.
