Polaris 360 Question

I was told at a pool store that I could use this Polaris 360 in my above ground pool, since it is a 18x38 size and steel walls with vinly liner.
Has anyone ever heard of this being used in an above ground pool and if so, does it work good?

I have not put one in a liner pool, but i heard that you have to get "liner tires" made of a littler softer compound so the unit can get better gripsion. (is that a word?) But that has been awhile since i heard that. Can't hurt to ask.

Though not designed as an aboveground cleaner, I have seen successful use in the larger ones. The trick is to get the right pressure to it.
