to raise or not to raise the TA

here are my numbers as of today,
FC 6
CC .5
TC 6.5
PH 7.6
TA 60
CYA 55/60
I was wondering if i should raise my TA a little up to around 80 or so? Everything is going well. Pool is crystal clear. Ph creeps up a little then add some MA to lower and all is well.... Was just wondering or should i not even worry about it.. if its not broke don't fix it. (remember I am a farmer)

I wish....it will be a few years before we make it back that way, unless Daddy Warbucks pics up the tab.... Planning Yellowstone for next year maybe, or 2011. Maybe 2012 we'll make it out that way?

I think this year we are staying home by the pool. At least its paid for and very low cost to have fun and the kids are ok with that..

Actually, without knowing your CH it's really impossible to know whether to raise the TA or not. Very soft water AND low TA could accelerate metal corrosion in periods of low pH.
