Thanks Tstex! I'm happy you enjoyed the video. I'm not sure why the pool company steered me towards the 2HP. They were talking about water change over, and said that the 2hp would turn the water over every four hours.

I wanted to do the same thing, and the parts look to be the same, but my pump is a little different - spx3210z2ber. The sizing of the impellerSPX3205C impeller was a little confusing so I wanted to make sure I had the correct parts. Any additional comments would be welcome:

SPX3205C impeller (not the 1hp version spx3210c?)
SPX3021R Impeller Ring
SPX4000Z1 Diffuser O-Ring
SPX3200SA Shaft Seal Assembly(was going to use this one instead for salt water http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352062867.htm)
SPX3200T Housing O-Ring

You might check on total pricing with motor because a new pump might end up cheaper or at least not much more:
