DIG-220 clock not working

I just installed the pump relay and it is working fine, as far as turning the pump on and off, but I realized that the clock is not working. I do not know if it was working before the relay and setup installation as I did not have any use for it, but now I cannot use the pump programs since the "time of the day" is not working. It stays as it is setup but does not update as time passes.
I changed the battery in the control panel and no change.
If anybody can give me a clue as to how to troubleshoot this problem it will be greatly appreciated.

Have you set the clock to the correct time?

Yes, I have done it several times and via the "owners options", "maintenance menu" and "installer menu".

How old is the system?

When you set the clock, it sets correctly but when you check it later, it still shows the time you originally set?

4 year old system.
Correct, the time sets correctly but stays as set.

That's odd. All I can think of is that the clock has failed.

Is the clock something replaceble? Or is it part of the control board?

I think that it's just part of the control board.
