Where do gaskets go?

I am new at taking care of a pool by myself! I have an AG pool that I am replacing the outlet that returns the water to the pool. It came with 3 gaskets - 2 black rubber and 1 brown - looks like cork. Of course there are no directions that came with it and I called the pool store but the young kid was no help. Can someone tell me how many and which gaskets I would put on the inside of the pool between the outlet and the vinyl liner? And which gaskets would go on the outside of the pool before I screw on the nut??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The gaskets go black, liner, wall,black, cork, nut
