Is there something specific that you are seeing your contractor do (or not do) that is causing you to question the quality or appearance of the work? Or, were you simply wanting to check references?

I'm using 18" limestone coping, 2" thick. The total width of the deck will be at least 4' wide. What is the usual method for pouring concrete for the deck and laying the limestone? Is the process done all at once? Is there any kind of support (mesh? rebar?) that goes under the rock? There will be mesh wire around the deck and the concrete guy will put #3 rebar pointing inward to the pool wall. The gc said there will be 1/2" mortar between the rock and top of the fiberglass. Any thoughts of yours and any others are appreciated.
