I have a Hayward "Comfortzone" brand, 300,000 BTU propane heater that I no longer need (installed solar panels). It's approximately 15 years old, but it works great. Just got too expensive to operate - even as a backup.

Anyone have an idea as far as what I should ask for price to sell? Don't have a clue.

Personally I would not spend the money on a heater that is 15 years old. I would be too concerned that as soon as I got it installed it would fail. And as you have admitted, it costs a lot to operate, I would think the newer ones are more efficient as well.

I think you might have a hard time ridding yourself of this one. You might consider donating it and taking the tax deduction, you might realize more $ than trying to sell it.
