Only Second time opening have chemical test question

I just opened my pool for the second time ever.

I pull the cover off and the water is crystal clear (aside from some leaves that got under the cover and some worms.

I filled the water back up from the level that I dropped it to last October got the pump running and used my Taylor 2006 test kit to get my readings

CYA=35
TA= 80
PH=7.4
FC=1.5
CC=0

These readings sound too good for a pool opening is my test kit broken?

It's normal for a properly closed pool to open with good numbers and some residual FC at opening. If you close late and open early as recommended, this is normal. Reagents properly stored that were fresh when purchased should last at least a year.

Bumping up your CYA a bit after getting things going and you're set.

I'd say be happy and enjoy swimming once the water warms up!
