Pool Calculator Corrosive ?

Here are my numbers for this am.

FC.....4.0
CC....0.0
TC....4.0
pH....7.5
TA....85-90
CH.....180 (approx)
CYA....60
Salt.....4200 (a bit higher than we typically like, but oh well)

When I input these number into TPC, it comes up with corrosive -.49. Everything in the pool has been really stable. TA dropped a bit with the rain, but still within a good range.

The only thing I can adjust would really be the pH to get my corrosive number down a little bit. I can add CH, but it seems adjusting the pH has a bigger impact on the corrosive # than the CH anyway.

So is a corrosive number of -.49 something to be concerned about where I should adjust my pH to 7.7 and hope that it remains steady there?

Thx.

Cool, Thanks!

Now I see that only "negative" affects plaster, stone, pebble, etc. And anything great than a "positive" .6 is not good for anyone. I wasn't concerned about the pool per se, but more the equipment.

Thanks again!
