    Replacement VS Motors?

My 1.5 hp pump motor has apparently died. Looking at the Pentair Superflo 342001 as a replacement/upgrade. BUT--thinking ahead--if (when) the VS motor dies, can it be replaced or is it whole new pump time in "X" number of years? And what's a good guess for "X"? Pool would be open 5-6 months/year.

SuperFlo VS parts diagram shows motor is part #353134s. The only place I've found online with a price says $280.
screen enclosed 12 x 24 rectangle 10k IG gunite with AquaBright (Blue Lagoon w/Blue Med markers), Pentair CnC RP 150, Pentair Superflo VS (no SWG, no water features, no heater)
