    new pump?

    [FONT='Myriad Pro',Arial,Serif]I've decided to upgrade to a sand filter pump, and ordered this one[FONT='Myriad Pro',Arial,Serif]

    but now I'm second-guessing myself. My pool is 22 x 52, and holds about 10,740 gallons per Intex manual. Have a Haywood wide-mouth skimmer installed, with 2 returns. Currently using this cartridge pump, and it's works pretty well, but hoping for better circulation (darn wedding cake step!) : Intex Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, 2500 GPH Pump Flow Rate, 110-120V with GFCI : Swimming Pool Water Pumps : Patio, Lawn Garden

    But now I'm wondering if I should have gotten a Hayward or other brand or larger sand filter pump. I have a Diver Dan vacuum, and Kreepy Krauly that I use also, and I'm wanting to make sure the new pump will be sufficient. The pump I have now is barely sufficient for the Kreepy Krauly, but definitely NOT overkill.....

    Input? Anyone?
    22' x 52" Intex UltraFrame ABG, 10,500 gallons
    using TF-100 test kit
    Krystal Klear 633T Filter Type B pump - 2,500 GPH (using currently)
    Hayward wide-mouth skimmer
    Intex Sand Filter Pump - 3000 GPH (not in use yet)

    Re: new pump?

    I have the ultra frame 22 x 52, a wanda the whale, Hayward skimmer, water fountain and we just switched to the same pump you ordered from Amazon. It is fine for our pool.

    Intex AG 22' x 52" Ultra frame, Intex 2650 pump, sand filter and SWG
    Hayward in-wall skimmer, Wanda the Whale, center fountain, Intex magnetic light
