    Taking control of my pool

My pool is 17 years old and the company servicing it for the last couple of years, hasn't really done much to keep the equipment operating correctly. Being retired, I've decided to take control of it myself. I will first read some of the threads and will probably come back with some questions concerning Heaters, Salt Cells and Cleaning Systems.
16,500 gal concrete pool and spa. Pentair 2.6HP wisperflow pump; Pentair Quad 80 DE Filter; Currently no heater,
but planning a Raypac Gas Heater shortly. A Hayward T15 SWG and an AA Mfg 1.5" 6 port Actuator cleaning system. 1 Jandy Valve Actuator at intake from pool or spa; 1 Jandy Valve Actuator return after heater to pool or spa.
